SSI Openwater Dive Course Singapore Waters S$490.

Course Programme: Theory session 1

• Module 1 Buoyancy, comfortable descents/ascents & breathing underwater.
• Module 2 Staying warm, streamlining yourself & diving together.
• Module 3 Diving env, caring for yourself/others, solution thinking & adventures.
• Module 4 Nitrogen narcosis, decompression sickness & dive tables.
• Module 5 Safety stops, altitude considerations & dive computers.

All participants must be able to swim 200m and to be reasonably fit. (medical-form.pdf) Theory Session done every Monday evening from 1900 hrs at our shop. You may also opt for the home study programme if you cannot make it for the theory sessions. You will receive a log book, certification, manual, VCD and a dive table. All dve equipment used in the course is included. Purchases are also available at our shop. Departure for the dives will be at The Republic Of Singapore Yacht Club next to West Coast Pier. Pool session on Wednesday 1830hrs at Mana Mana Beach Club - practising all self aid & buddy assisted skills. Example of skills to be practised basic snorkel skills

• mask/snorkel clearing
• regulator clearing & retrieval
• weight belt ditching
• oral inflation of BCD
• air sharing exercises
• out of air procedures
• entry/exit procedures
• descend/ascend procedures
• buoyancy practice

Open water dives – 4 dives to be logged over Saturday and Sunday at Southern Islands of Singapore.

SSI Openwater Dive Course Tioman Weekly Package. Mid February To Mid November.

Package will include :

• 2 nights stay & 5 meals in Tioman.
• 2 way transfers (Sin / Tio / Sin) by coach & ferry.
• All rooms with a/c, attached bathroom & hot shower, based on quad. (2 divers sleep on same bed x 2)
• For twin & single sharing rooms, please add S$80 & S$160 to package price.
• Manual, log book and dive table.
• All dive equipment and certification.
• Please note that there will be reef tax of M$5 per person when entering Tioman.
• 1 colored passport photo/Jpeg is to be provided for certification.

One theory session in Singapore. Monday evening from 1900hrs at our dive center. You may also opt for the home study programme if you cannot make it for the theory session.

Pool Session at Mana Mana Beach Club at 1830 hrs on Wednesday.

Course Programme For 2d/2n Friday Evening Departures – S$550 5 Dives.

Day 1

1900 hrs – coach departs from Hong Kong Street Near Boat Quay.
2330 hrs – arrival Mersing & depart for Tioman.
0200 hrs – arrival Tioman & check in to rooms.

Day 2

0800 hrs – rise & shine, breakfast.
0900 hrs – 2 shore training dives.
1400 hrs – lunch at the resort.
1500 hrs – 1 boat training dive.
1930 hrs – Theory exam and BBQ dinner.

Day 3
0700 hrs – rise & shine , breakfast.
0730 hrs – 2 boat training dives.
1300 hrs – lunch at the resort.
1430 hrs – dive boat departs for Mersing.
1700 hrs – dinner in Mersing (own expense) & depart for Singapore.
2200 hrs – home sweet home!

Course Programme For 3d/2n Friday Morning Departures – S$690 7 Dives.

Day 1

0615 hrs – coach departs from Newton Hawker Centre.
1100 hrs – arrival Mersing & depart for Tioman.
1330 hrs – arrival Tioman, 2 shore training dives and dinner.

Day 2

0800 hrs – rise & shine, breakfast.
0900 hrs – 2 training dives.
1400 hrs – lunch at the resort.
1500 hrs – 1 training dive.
1930 hrs – night dive and BBQ dinner.

Day 3
0700 hrs – rise & shine , breakfast and 2 training dives.
1300 hrs – lunch and depart for Mersing.
1800 hrs – arrival Mersing and depart for Singapore.
2200 hrs – arrival Singapore.

Reminder : Do note that the accomodations in Tioman are simple and basic, please do view pictures of the rooms on our web site before you decide, quad share means 2 people will share 1 queen sized bed x 2 beds. If you are traveling alone, we cannot gurantee who you will be sleeping next to, so please do opt for single share at extra S$160 or twin share S$80 per trip if you wish.
